I was wondering if it’s possible to direct a user to a custom wizard link after they click Going in an event?

I don’t think so sorry. Intriguing combination of the two plugins!
Probably the best that can be done easily is a well signposted link to the Wizard in the event Topic text.
I’m sure it would be possible to fork the plugin to get what you want to happen, but it would be tricky and fragile.
