I’ve just purchased the plugin and I am happy about what it does, but I thought that it would combine discourse events and external events in calendar that you can share.
So for now there are 2 main sources for events coming either from
-persons organising/sharing events using external calendars
-persons organising events using discourse event/calendar built-in feature
And to represent all this we have 2 separate calendars : the discourse calendar and the event plugin calendar that are both visible in categories.
So why not merge those 2 calendars to avoid confusion for users?
I know that you can import external events in the discourse calendar, but then you cannot export it as an ical feed.
Furthermore, having 1 item called agenda and 1 item called calendar on a category is confusing for end-users
